Mantis Golf Blade Putter Brian July 11, 2014 GOLF JUNK With so many new products out there it’s hard to decide what to buy. If you’re tired of the standard choices and repetitive designs, check out Mantis Golf Co. The idea behind these putters is simple – color the putter green so that it blends in better with the backdrop of the grass and you can focus on your ball, not the putter. This might seem like a gimmick but it actually works. It kind of forces your eyes to look at the ball and concentrate on the strike rather than alignment shapes, shiny metal or a jet black clubhead. The weight is distributed evenly, the face feels silky smooth and tacky grip helps you keep the club moving throughout the shot. Overall, the Mantis Putter feels great. It’s a very nice alternative to the traditional putters out there and the green color actually does provide a bit of visual relief. The white crosshairs on the top are just enough to help align the perfect putt. Mantis also makes a mallet-style putter with a more rounded look than other mallets that tend to be more square or oblong. Give Mantis Golf Putters a look if you’re about to upgrade the flat stick in your bag. Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
